Drawing a Comic Strip – Adventures of Wall-E and Eva

December 7, 20164 Comments

What happens when the world’s cutest dogs go on an adventure? Find out in this comic drawing vlog!

If you don’t know by now, I have two funny shih tzus named Eva and Wall-E. Eva’s definitely the smarter one and Wall-E’s the one with the huge heart. As a surprise birthday gift for my wife I made this comic featuring our “kids”. Watch the entire process from idea to sketch to ink and coloring and surprising my wife with the comic. Enjoy!

  1. Yes! you definitely should do more Wall-E and Eva.They’re adorable, and they can do anything. And cartooning is my first love.

Positive feelings, my kids loved it. Nice to see a bit about our instructor too ;). If you enjoy it please continue as people can choose to watch. Seeing the prep, execution and the reaction… another perspective on art as expression and why we practice. Perhaps this is intro into comic, animal and nature illustration…you seem quite capable!

I really enjoyed this video, thanks for making it.

Do you do any cartooning courses, particularly with regards to drawing digitally?
