This course is comprised of two complementary standalone tutorials that will cover every step of the creative process behind creating backgrounds for animation.

Learn about the first design stages, blocking environment, adding texture, rendering, projection, and more. You'll also learn about the software used by Vega and a variety of strategies that will help create stunning backgrounds to suit a variety of uses.

Throughout the course we'll use programs such as Blender and Photoshop to create the type of professional backgrounds you've seen in your favorite video games or animated show.
