This project is a demonstration of starting with a fantasy prompt, using reference to sketch, and building up an idea as it unfolds into a finished painting inspired by old masters such as John Singer Sargent and Joaquin Sorolla.

Starting with a Dungeons and Dragons prompt, this showcases the process from sketching, to applying an underpainting, and polishing the painting to be a final portrait.
