It's so hard to pick one. My go to 3 artists for so long were Brian Froud, Alan Lee and Yoshitaka Amano. But over the years so many artists have joined the ranks that they tend to switch in and out depending on what I'm into, my mood, or even just going through that honeymoon phase when a new artist's work speaks to you. James Jean was one of those for me haha. For now though I'll go with one of my favorites, John Bauer 1882 - 1918. An absolutely wonderful illustrator from Sweden who unfortunately passed away all to young with his wife and 3 year old son when the ship they were on capsized.

Tough question! I think it depends what month of the year it is :p Sometimes Rembrandt, Monet, Manet, James Gurney, Terryl Whitlatch.... But favourite has to be April Coppini. She was suggested to me by someone after seeing I like charcoal and movement and wow, this is exactly the kind of art I aspire to.

I have many favorites. If I really try to narrow it down, then I guess: Caravaggio, Velázquez, Vermeer, Rembrandt, Rubens, Bernini, Munkácsy, Sargent... I really don't want to choose just one. But if I absolutely had to, then Rembrandt.

I'd have to say my favourite is Zdzisław Beksiński. I've always been obsessed with rendering textures and little details for my eyes to get lost in, and I think his work truely encapsulates everything i love about that. There's something about his work that really speaks to me to a degree that i haven't felt elsewhere. The colour pallet and compositions of these vast hellscapes really make you feel small, like a child in a nightmare.
