Hey, @Anubhav Saini, thanks for reaching out! I think @Steve Lenze’s feedback properly answers your first three questions. Additionally, concerning how to design the abs, I’d just suggest taking some time to study Stan’s anatomy lessons on Abs and watching his demo videos (such as Abs Assignment Examples - Male), which might give you insights on how to solve your own designs. How to get better at shape design: like most things, I’d say you get better at it by practicing. But what is shape design exactly? In a short answer, I’d say it’s the act of creating shapes in a deliberate and strategic way that fulfills the purpose of your drawing by visually communicating what you want. Whether you want your drawing to feel harmonious, impactful, breezy, aggressive, pleasing, confusing… whatever the objective is, the shapes you choose to draw should be a deliberate construction and favor the mood you look for. As you practice, there are a few principles to keep in mind: contrast of opposites (small x big, simple x complex, curves x angles…), rhythm (repetition, unity, variety, movement, guiding the eye throw the drawing), emphasis (popping what’s more important, pushing back what isn’t), balance. These are concepts that can guide your decision-making process as you draw in order to gradually sharpen your shape design skills. If you still need any more specific guidance on this topic, please let me know. Hope this helps!

Steve Lenze
Let me start off by saying your gesture is good, it does have a nice flow. Your structure is mostly right. The pelvis tilts down, and you have it straight up and down. The anatomy is not bad. The upper arm is too long, and your missing the obliques. Which brings us to the abs. The way you drew them, they look like a shape attached to the front of the body. They are also not being effected by the pose of the body, their shape do not change with the stretch and pinch that is happening in the torso. I did a quick sketch to show you how you can think about the abs when designing them for the pose. I hope it helps :)
