Hey! I'm doing a paper on freelance artists and have some interview questions! Is there anyone experienced or knowledgeable enough to answer some of my questions? (so excited for some new knowledge & perspective!) I'll leave them down below thanks for all the help in advance!! Questions: 1. What is it that led you to pursue art as a career, did it change overtime? How did you make it to freelance artist? (did you know from a young age you wanted this?) 2. When you were just getting into the field, did you have to lean on other side jobs as a lifeline (or do you still)? Are you able to pay the bills just with work as an artist or did you have a lot of financial struggles (or still do)? 3. Were you nervous starting out as a freelance artist? Did everything fall into place immediately after pursuing this as a career? 4. How is it like in your shoes for a day at work? 5. Do you like your job? What are some cons to your job you struggle with? 6. How does it feel to be your own boss and manage your own time? 7. Has marketing yourself been difficult? (getting clients/making connections with people) Was it hard starting out getting them? 8. Do you think people need a bachelor's degree before marketing themselves as a freelance artist? Why is that? 9. What would you tell a person aspiring to be a freelance artist? Do you think they should go for it?
