That's one grumpy looking bird, I love it :D. I think you've captured the moody expression very well. I like the 5th one with two birds a lot, as it looks like the birds are interacting with each other. I also like the last one with a sitting owl, that pose is experimenting and it's just fun. Reminds me of a kid who refuses to move when a parent tells him it's time to go.
I can relate to the frustrated feeling when you're simply out of ideas, but don't worry, it'll pass. These are fun, good work!

Day ... I don't know :D These aren't from one day, but done over the last weeks. I work mostly digitally but since starting this course, I feel less anxious when drawing traditionally. The helmet took longer than 30 minutes... hope it is okay to post it, since I used the concept of starting with 5 values and it worked so well!

This was fun!
I included a picture of my "warm-up table" in case anyone is interested. I have a roll of paper (probably used for a plotter once .. Idk), the paper roll rests on the floor, paper comes up between table and wall, covers the table and is attached at the front with two of those things you can use to fix tablecloths to tables on a windy day. This fixes two problems for me: lots of space while not spoiling "good" paper for warm-ups and keeping the tabletop clean. Also it forces me to practise different angles since I cannot rotate the paper.
