At what age did you start supporting yourself through art alone? How many years did it take to become a full time artist after you seriously considered this to be your path? I want to be a pro but it's so uncertain and scary.

Hey @Varun Tulsyan, great drawing! What makes you think that there are mistakes in the drawing? I’m not so advanced to give you detailed critique about anatomy but from what I see it looks good to me. It’s shaded well and the anatomy seems good. Keep it up! Maybe you have more drawings you can show so that you can see if those mistakes are recurrent and what you can do in general about it.

Thank you! I don't actually think it has any mistakes, but I was wondering if someone else saw any. It's always nice to get an objective pov lol. Plus, I wanted to know if my values worked well as a whole, or if they clashed with each other.

Looking for critique on torso3yr
I recently started doing figure drawings. I think i did pretty well here but I cant seem to point out 'mistakes' in this drawing to help me get to the next level. I'd love to receive critique on it.
Carl Sagan caricature please!
Please do a Carl Sagan caricature!
So is the perspective course in the writing stage or have you guys shot a few videos?
Can you have a livestream with Marshall doing animal drawings/animal anatomy?
I've been doing a lot of colored pencil drawings lately and I love the medium. Do you think one can learn color and light through them well enough?
Going for the things that you like to create is the best way to stay in the process! You should definitely keep on going. I also like how you added the colours you used on the side, it is a simple, yet great addition. Keep it up!

I'm trying to experiment with colored pencils3yr
As I try to learn the fundamentals, I'm trying not to stop making things that i love and that actually excite me. Right now, I'm experimenting a lot with colored pencils. I'm kinda liking the style with visible, energetic strokes instead of aggressive blending. Would love to know everybody's thoughts.
Do you intend to make a detailed video tutorial on illustration or maybe even a series(yourself or through a guest instructor)?
