It occurred to me that the shell kinda looks like a set of twisted boxes, so drew those in for reference.

My attempt at the portrait. Focused mostly on making choices in what value to put where, was pretty challenging but I’m glad I stuck with it :)

First tried with a Bic ballpoint pen, perfectionism is already kicking in 😅 but I’ll leave it at this for now. Second one is done in Procreate
