I realized that I sometimes have trouble identifying where the horizon line is. This exercise pointed out some obvious room for improvement. Thanks!!

Reference #6 is confusing to me. I made the top right edge of the box angled down towards a horizon line somewhere in the middle based on where the camera is positioned. Is this wrong? I think I'm having some trouble understanding the horizon line and vanishing points when it comes to boxes that are tilted.

Well, we were supposed to try something new so: new to me - digital painting. I did not use the timer and ended up spending way too much time on it. Not too much for the piece, it clearly could use much much longer, but too much of my day - really have to get some work done now! But this was so much fun I just couldn't stop :) As mentioned, no experience with digital painting (or painting much at all), so any feedback or suggestions will be very welcome.

These are all 10-30 minutes each. Expressions are something I'd like to practice more.

I used a brush pen, a micron pen, and a cheap grey marker. My first traditional post.

How is the Anatomy of conjoined twins rendered?

I want to get to the point where I have most of the anatomy memorized so I can design better figures from imagination. I want to study where the muscles and tendons attach to the skeleton more in-depth. I'm also still struggling to identify anatomy from photographs.

I started with the intention of doing several studies, but I was having too much fun with this one.

Day 2: 25 minute mermaids 1 thing I like: how the shape of the legs translated into the fin shape in the blue drawing. 1 thing I'm working on: loosening up the gestures a bit.
