Fun assignment! I found that the previous assignments on simplification prepared me well to do this one. I havent’t watched the demo and the critique yet - I’m sure there’ll be a ton of tips and tricks.

The Pear simplification exercise - Before and After watching the demo Really enjoyed digging into the course with this drawing. I did before and after and it is indeed a great learning experience - I definitely didn’t regret redoing the drawing after Stan’s demo. From greater insights into playing with pencils and texture to having so much more confidence and speed in the second drawing - I’m so glad I overcame the urge to rush forward through the lessons. Writing these reflections down here for myself and others to remember and practice during the course :)
