I'm not an expert on this, so take this with a grain of salt, but I feel like doing small breaks for stretching will go a long way with relieving pain the next day!

Yes I should be better about that but I tend to just zone out and draw. Half the time I forget to drink my tea!

I wanted to ask a pretty basic question. I am loving these lessons and I’m finding that my thirst to draw has increased. I pretty much have been drawing every night and usually a couple of sketches during the day. I have by no means mastered any of these lessons. I’m wondering what I should be drawing when I’m not doing these lessons. I have been drawing from books and photos but I feel like I’m just copying. Are there any other things I can be doing to start learning things like volume, rhythm, Etc. Should I just keep repeating the past lessons?

So I have been drawing pretty much every day dedication at least 2 hours a night but I also get a few drawing in during the day. Lately my back has really been hurting specially just below the shoulder blade. Could this be from my table being to high or my chair too low? When I’m drawing nothing seems uncomfortable but the next morning my back hurts. Any tips or tricks? Thanks in advance! steve

Doing some warm ups and discovered a fun warm up using loose sketching and tapered strokes for a different type of mushroom.

Here is my 2nd attempt at the skull and hat. You can see the lines from the previous skull in the paper. Perhaps I need to lighten up my touch. Lines are super sketchy you can see the nerves coming out in the lines Not super stoked on it, I feel like im taking a step backwards

Here is my simplify to csi Level 1. I really tried to make this into simply shapes although I detailed the shell too much. This took a bit longer than I thought it would and the results are not great.....goals......its all about goals right?
