I wanted to present a small family scene of pumpkin carving. And the little boneheads were supposed to feel cringe that their parent wanted to carve the likeness of Proko. At least the hair is somewhat similar.
Can you talk about your relation with Marshall?

Which is better and why for first steps in oil painting: alla prima or direct approach?
Paradise Lost by John Milton. It's a watercolor with digitally added title and author. I loved how Ultramarine and Sepia combined together, powerful combo.

I assume, that i can use ZORN with gouache. Is it good idea to use Zorn with watercolor? Is it good idea to use Zorn with pastel? Or even colored pencils?
Not a question, just wanted to say - when someone commented Eriks work on instagram, that he wish to draw like him - Erik replied, that there is nothing special about him - it is just hard work. Its nothing life changing - but impact on me was huge. So anyway, thanks for your art and stay safe!

This is my submission. Although I'm not super happy nor crying about it, I spend a ton of time doing research and learning about hand and arm anatomy, did a number of pages of thumbnails. The process was so intensive yet rewarding, that yeah - this is official my favorite piece so far. It supposed to show, how addicted I became with every day I overcome obstacles and pick up pencil. I'm very glad I decided to participate.
