added comment inlooking for critiques for torso study
Hey shoepin,
I like your torso study, nice job on the finish. I have some suggestions that I think could help with the structure of your drawing.
You have some proportion issues that some have already mentioned. In particular the head is too big for the torso and the pelvis ,arms and legs are too small. Although I do not have access to your reference, I included a sketch that I think shows some corrections. Over all, the torso looks pretty good, keep up the good work :)

Hello Steve, I really love the drawing/correction you did here, it's very useful. Also, I've never noticed anything wrong about the pelvis until now! I'll definitely add the indication of pelvis to the lists of things I have to study since I haven't figured out how to indicate pelvis accurately. Thanks, this has been very helpful!

This is a good sketch of a torso. I'm not looking at the legs/waist/arms/head. I concur with Mike Karcz on all his points. As far as this image goes there's really nothing left to say other than, what's next? I suppose you gotta ask yourself; do you feel like you're progressing and growing or trying new things, accomplishing stuff you couldn't accomplish before?
Thanks! I definitely feel like I have still a lot of stuff to practice. I'm definitely not very good at rendering and composition. Though, I'm still stuck at trying to be good at figure drawing, there's still stuff like landscape painting, still life, cast drawings and others that I have to learn. Anyway, this is a very helpful insight Kemon <3

I think this looks good. I like your design (confident lines and your contrast of curve vs straight lines); and I like your blocking in of the shadows. I don't know the reference photo; but I think the proportion on the legs might be alittle off (?). Otherwise I think you're doing great.
Thank you for your insights Mike! I've never noticed my proportional mistakes until very recently, so I might start getting into that. Again, thank you, it's really helpful <3
Hello, I'm just a learning newbie here and I like to get some feedbacks on a torso study. I've read some books, watched a lot of videos, just devouring as many knowledge as I can, but I barely get any feedbacks from anyone, so I was hoping I could get ones from here. Thank you all in advance and have a great day!
