Hi! Thanks for the portfolio review.
I'm Patricia from Cuba. I'm self taught, started my journey last year and I'd very much like to reach a professional level at some point.
I've mostly painted portraits and character art.
I'd like to improve on a lot of things but mainly on storytelling, simplification and being able to get illustrations to a finished.
I'd appreciate if you could point out strengths and weekness in my work.
I don't know much about industry specific work, only that I'd like to work illustrating books some day.

Hi! My name is Veronica Carrasco (@VecapArtist). I currently work as a Graphic Designer, but drawing has always been my biggest interest. I am trying to take part in the video games industry, although drawing and producing my own contents is a tempting idea.
Anyway, your advice is very precious for me and I will really appreciate anything from your admirable experience and talent.
Thank you really much!

Gretings, i'm Rodrigo Suárez a freelance Graphic Designer and self tough artist based in Ecuador. My dream is work making ilstration and concept art.
I've been comisioned mainly ilustrations and story board works more than design so i really want to persue a carrier in concept art and ilustration. But i do feel very lost in the art industry and i do strugle finding jobs. Maybe my technical skills are not up to the standards yet.
Thank very much for this great service. My best wishes.

Hello Everybody.
This is my concept of a lemur centurion thingy enjoying a fig. Unfortunately i couldn't make it in time to make it look pretty. Is unfinished but i had a blast making it.
Hey Karla, i wanted to ask you how often do you practice with life models or painting from life. I know that is very important to learn how to draw from life and not just using photographs at laest thats the traditional way of thinking. What are your thoughts on that or in how to use photoreferences correctly for a better practice.
You are amazing, Greetings from Ecuador.

Hi, Which other colors would you use with the zorn palette for a more vibrant palette?
Hi Stan. How do you work around the texture of the of the paper? Or when do you use said texture in the composition of the drawing?

A modern fine arts student must question himself every day. Especially in a dark and desolate landscape full of conceptual nightmares and performance art terrors. That’s where trust is important. Trust in the people closest to us and especially in our abilities and dreams. My mother as the powerful genie, pushes me to better myself every day. My fiancé and muse supports me in a way no one else can and my closest friend the conniving saint inspires me with no end. Join me in this dangerous journey, as we venture to unearth the secrets of painting and and find the lost castle of financial independence. The knight of the Brushy Lance will be our guide and mentor, for he will protect us from bad perspective and help us focus on the Bones of the art!

Here is my submission for this months art challenge. This movie is called “The Voyage”
When I saw that the theme of the challenge was a “My Life Movie Poster” I knew exactly what I wanted to create. For the past year I’ve been working on creating a fantasy world filled with mermaids, harpies, sirens, pirates and more. My biggest problem is that I’m terrible at writing and coming up with stories, so I’ve contented myself with drawing one scene at a time, hoping that I’ll be able to tie the individual scene together down the road.
This challenge has given me that opportunity to pull those fantasy pieces together into one movie!
Thanks for checking out my submission. I hope you enjoy it.
PS. Bonus points if you can spot the painter in the poster.

I have to be hones, your piece really left me in awe. Such a good composition, the detail and the feeling of epicness and fantasy, really meakes me want this movie. And the great detail of the person with his easel, my lord so good!!! Great Job.

I haven’t got much to say apart from: thank you Proko for giving me a motive to finally practice graphic design. It really was an interesting journey- revisiting these memories - and I am happy to share a glimpse of it. Inspired by old thriller/detective movie posters.

Hello everyone! Nice to meet you all. I'm glad to participate to this challenge, the theme is really inspiring. So here is the movie poster of my life, entitled "Time, love & chaos". It would be a science fiction movie about time travel. I find Time to be something fascinating, both from a physical and philosophical point of view. For the past two years I've been working a lot on my drawing skills in order to become a professional illustrator and concept artist, and I had a real problem with Time. Either it passed too quickly, or not quickly enough and I often thought it would be nice if someone invented time travel!
Good luck to everyone :-)

Title: En las Nubes
(roughly translated to "Daydreaming" if i'm right)
Travelling has being a part of my life both as something i like to do (as a hobby) and also for work. This later years i have being really inclined towards creation, which i think is what calls me more, so for me, is kind of a trip inside my own mind.

I am in love with the classic painted Hollywood movie poster aesthetic, especially horror ones. It's amazing how busy, bright and colourful they were compared to their modern counterparts! So, I've decided to take every artist's nightmare and the story of my life essentially, and turn it into a classic scary flick. Enjoy! I'm sure you all can relate ;P
