Level 2 attempt. Attempted to join the floaters with rivers but may have obscured the division between lights/shadows.

This is a really fun assignment. The oceans, lakes, and rivers analogy is so helpful.
I could spend all day refining this guy. For now, this is what I have.

This particular model likes to bring her pet dove. He’s a surprisingly good model as well. 🐦

Number “1” it look kinda odd, but number “6” come out a little better. Everything start making more and more sense! :D

Looks like you’re getting the idea.
A tilted 3/4 view of the head can be challenging to draw. Here’s a tip to help you out on your next drawing-
Notice whether the nose or the ear is breaking the silhouette. it will only be one or the other. Not both.
Keep at it. Hope this helps,
