Suzy Pear can draw pears any way she likes! I think you did a nice job keeping the different values distinct - nice edges.

First attempt, Pear #3. Need to understand better how to apply the values, but tried to stick to "simplify". More work to do!

I’ll stick with the most basic of basics, a sketchbook and a HB pencil. I’ve found that focusing in the materials distracts me from the fundamental core concepts, and I want to go sketch out in the open, and it doesn’t get easier to carry around than paper and pencil

Alright, bought the course and am psyched! This will be the first Proko course I can participate in in real-time. My biggest art weakness is a lack of community, so I'm hoping that in addition to better understanding of the fundamentals I can connect with other people at the same stage.
If there are any other Michigan artists or people around the Great Lakes/Midwest region that want to band together to hone our craft, expand our skills, and maybe take over the world, send me a message!
