Hi all,
I finished another figure drawing. Since i got recommended to do a value comp to figure out initial values, i did a quick sketch of the figure (1st image) - I dont exactly know if i approached it like a 'value comp'. the second image is my final.
This is my final figure drawing for this course specifically! The course was a lot of fun & I learned a ton. Thanks to all the people who kindly gave me critiques & Pushed me just that bit more to improve & Thanks Proko for putting this course together :D
As far as that, Any critiques as usual would be much appreciated, Thanks!

Hi all,
I ended up finishing another Figure Drawing & tried to apply whatever i learnt with the master study of Stan's own work.
I think @mrfrar you mentioned to start off with 6 values or less in my last one, I'm pretty sure this is more than 6. I found it difficult to simplify down to 6 values as simple as it sounded. If you see this & you don't mind, would you send an example of a figure drawing minimized to 6 values so I could use it as reference for my next?
Beside from that, Any feedback would be much appreciated as usual! I'm planning on finishing 1 more for this course before i move on.

Hi all,
i ended up doing a study of Stan's own approach to figure drawing. I'll do 1 or 2 more figure drawings just to apply what I've learnt before i wrap this course up!

Hi everyone,
I did some shading on eggs as the exercise for this section;
The first page i initially ended up taking the pictures for which i used as reference. the order which they are uploaded by should go by order of the number on the page. As for the second page, i unfortunately didnt take any reference photos.
Any Critiques would be much appreciated!

2022/9/28. Good morning everybody. Here’s my daily 30 mins exercise. Snake body is a good reference to improve my capability to recognize in the animal body simple polygons like cubes, cylinders and pyramids. It’s body sections also commutes from square to round and it’s very funny follow the soft gesture of this kind of reptiles. This was supposed to be an exercise about structure. But in the end I couldn’t help my self from adding some simple shadows. Thanks for any comment or advice.

Hi all,
I've attempted some Balanced poses, within these i slotted in 3 poses (2,4,6) which are inspired from the previous pose (1,3,5) but invented from imagination. Some of the poses ended up cutting off the page, sorry about that.
I have a question for anyone that see's this and might know an answer. I dumped in a reference of the pose at the end; if i drew a vertical line down to find where the weight of the body lands from the middle of the torso, it ends up landing on the right leg however her weight seems to be held by her left leg. Is it correct to find the balance through the middle of the torso (as proko indicated in his video)?
Apart from that, any critique would be much appreciated as usual!

Here are some of my mannequinization studies. I drew the same poses Stan did, before watching each pose on his videos. I tried to apply every simplification he presented, for the head, torso, members, muscles, etc. I'm happy with the results, but would really appreciate some critiques

Hi all,
I ended up finishing a few landmark/ observations of the human body. This part was a big jump from the last section so i took time going through trying to understand the landmarks. I know a limited amount of knowledge with anatomy for now but it was still fun to do this!
I've attached the references which i used. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
This is my attempt at the structure lesson assignments. Adding structure was difficult but fun, especially ontop of the gestures animals have. I've also attached the references i used.
If anybody has any critiques, they are more than welcome.

Hi all, I've finished my first attempt at the bean.
This was pretty fun however i noticed that i struggle a bit with twisting the bean, especially on the more subtle twists and most of all i don't really know how to approach more static poses like pose 33, would that go down as a lean? . The poses i used were from the Chanon pack 1-37.
Any critiques would be much appreciated.

Hi all, I did some more gesture drawings, first 3 pages are 30 seconds and the final is 2 minutes. I felt like i messed up the 2 minute ones alot and didn't have much success there. Line quality and proportion is something i noticed i struggled with quite a bit whilst doing them. If anyone has any tips/ advice i would be more than glad to hear it. I've been having a lot of fun with gesture despite them turning out bad.
