Struggled a bit with the sea horse, it was difficult to see what direction to put the contours in vs the body, but I got it wrong I think.

We're looking at the seahorse from a side view and there isn't a lot of foreshortening going on -- the difference between what is coming towards us and going away from us is subtle. You could play with the invisible horizon line location. If it's below the seahorse, the curve will be pointing up. If it's below, the curves will be pointing down. You could also try turning the seahorse so that parts of it are coming towards us. The more it's facing us, the rounder the curve will be.
Your cross contours here are looking good! You could probably get away with less lines in the tail of the seahorse. There's not too much of a difference in shape throughout so you don't need to spend too much time describing it. Overall, nice work!

I had a hard time wanting to do this assignment and put it off for a while.
I definitely messed up the shape portion of this, I didn’t simplify them.
Hi Mike, I struggled with this one too. I think it's supposed to be challenging, so I wouldn't worry too much about it! :) Even if you feel like your shapes aren't simple enough, it does seem like you were thoughtful with them. I really like the way you simplified the ear!

I did Eliza Ivanova. I had a hard time. I was trying not to get distracted by proportions and shading.
I feel like there isn’t enough variation and like I’m struggling achieving a tapered look. Feedback appreciated

Not super happy with these, will probably do a second attempt. Struggled a lot with the hand.
