Coming in late but here's my attempt on the first pear model. I tried to eyeball the block-in as I've had some mileage with proportion, but the simplification of edges and value surely posed formidable challenges to me. I'm generally pretty happy with the result and the thought process, as it forces me to think more shape-oriented and to control their boundaries better, which I believe will be really helpful with edge control later on.

It has been a while since the last time I had to actively try to measure out everything from a reference photo like this. There are some propotional and placing problems I only managed to spot out after some shading, but man, I'm feeling fresh with this one! Thank you Mr. Bauman and the Proko team for a great livestream and draw-along session!

Now that I realize I made the guideline for eyebrows, but drew the nasal bone in that position instead...
