some poses I did, about 4 min each I think right now the biggest thing for me is to improve proportions, I tend to make the lower body too short
I can’t critique as im so far below your level . But can i say you give me hope , i too have problems with proportions . Your poses feel alive to me 👌

I have a feeling I’m going to do many many studies like this in the future they really help me understand the simple idea behind all the detail

Only had this notebook with me, last two drawings are from imagination. I’m going to finish all 40 but wanted to quickly show some progress

Quick attempt before I go to sleep, I’ll definitely do another tomorrow morning. For this attempt I should taken more time for the big initial shapes because I ended up working with a badly oriented head..

Did some more animals, the tiger was a lot harder I felt that there were not nearly as many big obvious shapes when compared to the other animals

Looks awesome! Really nice work. It makes sense that you had a more difficult time with the tiger -- there aren't very well defined, closed shapes like you were able to make with the rest of the animals. You may have to invent some shapes that aren't as obvious. If you feel like doing a few more iterations, see if you can come up with some interesting shapes to represent the anatomy.

im definitely going to do more of these but for now here’s what I’ve done
Great job getting your work up here. Part of mastering ones craft is considering presentation and orientation of your work. I would love to see your images in landscape.
