i've somehow managed to get worse as i move through these. line quality, line economy, proportion,rhythm, etc..these are the first 8 though. i'll have to finish this up soon.

the day i submitted these michael uploaded a video talking about burnout. i'm probably burnt out, so i'm taking a lot of breaks now. i managed to do 9 & 10 though.
1 is actually 28 from the zip, I realize now that I was flipping through these backwards on my phone.
I don't recall checking the "asked for help" box but either way i don't like how most of these turned out, i'm assuming I need to draw the wrapping lines more precisely & also use less of them. line weight seems like a problem, as well as the placement of lines in general. proportions are off & foreshortening needs work. not sure what else is wrong.

here are 10 or so from imagination. i feel like i'm not using enough diagonals and even though they're probably 17 lines or less i think they're too busy or i'm not placing the lines properly. i'm hoping for some constructive criticism before i do the 10 studies but if not i'll probably do them soon.
here are the 10 from reference. I'm not particularly happy with all of them but it's been so long I had to finish this up so I can move on. i feel like most of them convey what I want them to but i'm still not sure if any of these conform to the method well enough. As to how pleasing they look at this point I think that will only come with developing my line confidence.

I think this took too long for me to draw. I guess that's my line confidence that needs work but i'm going to make a bunch of these, probably sloppily, without color variation in my sketch book. That way i can quickly practice it over & over.
