I struggled with this assignment. I wasn't exactly sure what it was about. The hand was really difficult and I think I became too focused on the contours. I was also focusing on the lines and contours instead of the shape of the penguin. I enjoyed drawing the VR Girl and so I was less critical of myself whilst drawing it and felt I explored more. I still struggled with proportions and so it started to become too messy. I was definitely confusing making confident lines with making the right line and I was still following the CSI project. I think I understand the assignment a bit more as I watch the demo and critique videos. It's also helped to go over the notes I've made from the videos, if anyone else is struggling. Otherwise there's a lot of information to sift through and it can get confusing remembering the difference between each project.
