Some great movement capture here. The ones that are more exaggerated are my favorite

This was a fun challenge... I wasn't quite sure if we were supposed to use just colored pencils or whatnot, but I figured I'd add something to my portfolio and work in acrylics since it looked like some of the examples and other work people posted used other media.

Bruno Mars becomes just "Bruno" Some facts about Chihuahuas: 1. The average height of the Chihuahua is 5-8" tall 2. When pups are born, their ears are floppy. As they age, they begin to stand erect, with fully erect ears occurring by around six months of age 3. The ratio of brain to body size makes this breed known as the one with the largest sized brain Some fun facts about Bruno Mars: 1. Height is ~7"... most of his concert work is done with mirrors and camera optics to give the illusion of 5'5" 2. He has over 43M Twitter followers 3. Bruno Mars’ real name is Peter Gene Bayot Hernandez. His stage name, “Bruno Mars”, was inspired by the wrestler Bruno Samartino, because as a child Bruno was confident, independent, and strong-willed, like the wrestler. The ‘Mars’ came along because girls used to say he was “out of this world”, so he used the planet Mars as his last name. My piece was done strictly in physical media (with Pen and Waterbrush)... no photoshopping, filtering, or digital touchups allowed except for cropping the photo. This was a really fun challenge and I've loved the other submissions so far. Happy creating everyone.

for me, it comes down to the eyes being off... the model's eyes are open where you have very heavy lids that make her look like they are half-closed. The rendering is beautiful but the emotional connection is very different. Best of luck!

Oof thought I wasn't going to make it, so close Was a bit hesitant on going for a more gloomy tone but it's a theme that speaks to me a lot and hopefully I was able to properly communicate it! Hope you like it!

STICKY GIFT (2021) When moving sticky notes guides this young woman who strives for being an artist along with her swan helps her remind herself of who she is by going to the past, solving out mysteries before her birthday, 14th of June. Hello! I'm Oliziette and this is my movie poster for a movie that will tell my story on how I become who I am. It's an adventure, fantasy, action, a little bit comedy here and there, and mystery type of movie. Why it's called Sticky Gift, like what's so special about the Stick Notes? Well, I use it a lot and it has saved me so much in my workplace and myself, not only as an artist, but MAINLY in my personal life. I'm quite forgetful person, and i have to remind myself all the time. Now, there was one time I made like a past > present > future thing. Being an artist has changed my views in life, but even so, I had to remind again to myself that it's okay to fail and to take a breath whenever I know I start to panic over mistakes, failures, and judgements. It helped me so much to get through all of the stories again that I had in the past and get me back to the present to change the future. Also, Sticky Notes has become my friend at some point hehe. The "Gift" one? Well, I'll leave the theories on you guya for the mysteries hehe~ (Actually.. it's kind of obvious though ahaha). So enjoy this poster I made that shares about the journeys on how I got here, along with my two little companions: a swan, and my little Sticky Notes. I had fun while making this, so I hope all of you had fun and are having fun making yours! Goodluck 😊

Here is my submission for this months art challenge. This movie is called “The Voyage”  When I saw that the theme of the challenge was a “My Life Movie Poster” I knew exactly what I wanted to create. For the past year I’ve been working on creating a fantasy world filled with mermaids, harpies, sirens, pirates and more. My biggest problem is that I’m terrible at writing and coming up with stories, so I’ve contented myself with drawing one scene at a time, hoping that I’ll be able to tie the individual scene together down the road.   This challenge has given me that opportunity to pull those fantasy pieces together into one movie!  Thanks for checking out my submission. I hope you enjoy it.  PS. Bonus points if you can spot the painter in the poster.

Hello everyone, here is my entry for the movie poster challenge.. Lately i`m doing more inked, comiclike stuff with a inky outline. It is a poster for some kind of western movie, containing some things from my life. I don`t like the result as a whole but i like parts of it and i learned a lot. I`m going to do another "movieposter" somewhere soon, and give it another go. I hope you guys like it.

Hi everyone! So i am experimenting lately with more minimal designs while painting. Title: En las Nubes (roughly translated to "Daydreaming" if i'm right) Travelling has being a part of my life both as something i like to do (as a hobby) and also for work. This later years i have being really inclined towards creation, which i think is what calls me more, so for me, is kind of a trip inside my own mind.

I had so much fun with this challenge! The poster is based on a poem I wrote a couple years back, called Miracle. Here it is for anyone who's curious: --- Rainless clouds, long unsupported, press the horizons together. The troughs that I carved with once fearless fingers into the brick-baked bedrock level out into flatness behind me. Blood breaks from the split fingernails touches the soil sizzles to steam. Far ahead where all cracks converge rises a new column of light shimmers turns into a beacon. But not its beguilement as much as the scatter of rock, coils me forward digging into my calves like so many bug bites. On approach it shrinks to a flame and I, I watch the bush burn wait and wait and wait - for a voice, or a forefinger, - well after cooled ashes creep into my nose, under my eyelids; all I hear is static. I must kneel to bury it. --- The rest of the elements are connected to my home country, Bulgaria, my love for fantasy and my main occupation - pharmacy. I had a lot of fun painting all of the clothing, but the title was super difficult to come up with and format, since I have little experience with typography and design work.

Hi everyone! God, all of the submissions are so cool and creative, I'm jealous +_+ Here's what I came up with. It's about a condition called maladaptive daydreaming that I had as a form of escapism in the past. Nowadays I just use it to fall asleep. I was worried that the image is getting too busy with details and it will be all over the place, and honestly I'm not sure if I was able to avoid that in the end xD but anyways, it was a great experience overall, and I hope everyone had fun as well!

Hello! This is my entry and I’m super excited to participate in this Proko challenge! And its a self portrait. This story is about an aspiring artist who has to overcome his greatest weakness; not finishing a single drawing, for the reason that every time he draws, another idea arises; or maybe he’s just lazy. (Drama, Comedy, Adventure) On a serious note, This represents my self as an artist at the moment. Through my art journey, I have always made my self envious to other people that can draw or paint better than me, but recently i have come to terms that I am in a starting level than those artist who I admire; and thats okay.  One thing is for sure though, my skill level as an artist is not yet finished.

Hello everyone, here’s my entry to this month's Proko challenge. The movie’s name is CHICKEN-REX Hunters, it’s a story about surviving in a dangerous world that was destroyed by giant genetically modified chickens (and other foods, but no spoilers here). A guy needs to venture with his faithful dog, Nilo, in search of medicine for his people, the only problem, the ingredients exist only in deep Chicken-Rex infested territory, luckily he finds an experienced Chicken-Rex Hunter, Renata, and maybe with her guidance he can help his people.

Howdy Friends and Fellow Artists, Here is my entry into this wonderful little challenge. I've never done one of these and I almost missed the cutoff for submitting because of surprise, surprise... procrastination. The original piece was done graphite/ink/charcoal and then I digitally corrected it in Corel Painter (as well as applied the lettering, borders, etc.). It's been years since I've done a complete composition and it was a lot of fun to have a challenge like this to try doing it again. I've never submitted to a challenge before and have barely had the time to draw or paint in the last few years, so it's nice to get back into it and I'm just happy to be here and see what everyone else is coming up with. Happy drawing to everyone :-)
