I've done some drawings after watching the Landmark videos a couple of times. I decided to focus on backside poses as I am a non-premium learner for now. As a result, I've referenced the "Example #3" video as a step-by-step guide. What can I do to improve my drawings? Any and all feedback would be appreciated.

Hi! Wow, so many studies. I have two tips for you 1) To improve you need to get more structure and better proportions to your drawings. This will come later in the course. I suggest you to do the same excercise again after you do assignments for robo-bean and manequization and you will see the difference! 2) When doing these assignments it really helped me to copy step by step what Stan did. Trying to mimic exactly his movements. You do it like this: 1st draw it without watching the video. Then watch the video and draw along mimicing the movements. Then do it again on your own. You can try it with this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xsy0TK2g50

Hi, I am Jiri, currently working as a freelance illustrator for some smaller companies mainly doing card art or splash art for board games. Currently I feel that my style is a bit in in the middle - not really stylized (like hearthstone) and not really realistic (like gwent or magic the gathering). I was trying to push more toward hearthstone style ( dragon, bunny and boar illustrations) the rest is my usual “middle style”. So the question that was bugging me - should I focus on this “hearthstone” style or stay in the middle? In other words should I target one company with my portfolio? I would also be very grateful for any advice how to improve and make my portfolio appealing for bigger companies. Thank you so much for taking your time and reading this!

Hi, A bit late, but I decided to post my portfolio anyway. I am already working as a freelance illustrator for some smaller companies, but I am not yet at the level of mtg or hearthstone illustrators. I am trying to develop a "hearthstone" portfolio, but my clients usually do not want that kind of style. I attached that corrupted bunny I did for hearthstone illustration challenge, but now I know that the bunny does not really match the style. Hopefully my quilboar is a better match. Right now my style is kind of in the middle, not realistic enough for clients like MTG, and not stylized enough for clients like Hearthstone. Do you think I should push for one way or another? Or stay in the middle? Thanks for taking your time and I will be looking forward for the next Hearthstone Art Competition :) Thanks!
