First image contains 5 min warm ups. Second image is a longer (~20 min) drawing. I used a blue pencil which I helps me to get energetic lines that don't look too messy. I'm happy with the flow and energy of the drawing, but think I could have pushed it a bit further. <3

These were about 5 minutes each. I'm trying to capture the flow of the pose and have recently been thinking more about the force areas.

Hi pasqualed. I am far from an “expert” at drawing, but I may be able to offer some help whilst you wait for advice from a more experienced artist. Yep, drawing from imagination is really hard! I wish I could just put pen to paper and smash out a figure from imagination in 10 or so minutes, but because you and I are not at that level yet, we should try to construct our figures with simple shapes before going into anatomical detail. I think this may have contributed to why your drawing has some “errors”. For example, your torso is rotated at a very severe angle compared to your hips. It looks like a whole 90-degree rotation compared to the hips, and this seems a bit too strong. By rotating your torso clockwise a bit it might look more natural (shown on image 1) The legs look a little wonky, but they are not too bad. I think the angle of the front foot is too inwards (image 2). As far as I know, the feet approximately follow the angle of the thigh. Also, the right leg seems to be a bit too inwards compared to the centre line of the hips. It should ideally be closer or on the other side of the hips’ centre line (image 3) Apart from those points, this is a good effort. I really like the face and some of the lines you have used to indicate anatomy, such as the indication of the collarbones. To help with future drawings, I recommend first drawing a simple mannequin (I like to use Andrew Loomis’ mannequin). This will help to put things in the somewhat “correct” place before you commit to the rest of the drawing. Good luck, - imshenanigans
