Drawing over a photo and trying to show some depth… it’s quite amazing! It’s hard to draw long straight lines in an evenly manner or do determine where is close and where is far. I also get confused when there’s a place far away but I want to put on a bit more line weight because there’s shadow. The transition in the middle is a bit abrupt. But hey, I learned something!:)

Sketching is very scary to me and i dont know why. It shouldnt be that difficult but I get anxious whenever i do it.

Boots 5? Boots are lots of fun. CSI is lots of fun.

A cartoon expresses thoughts, ideas, and identities that we cannot or would not otherwise express in real life.

Assignments don’t come easy to me . Still slow/lazy /procrastinating !

cartoons to me are an expression where lay out and caracters have a distinghuished look and feel. translated by the artist's lines and emotion .

So these are my attempts! I am not used to drawing from imagination to be honest but this seemed to be pretty fun. First attempt wasn't great but then I came up with something pretty decent I think!

Here are my sketches from observation. All done digitally with iPad procreate and the closest brush I could find to a colored pencil. Looking forward to seeing what everyone draws from imagination!

Here are my efforts. Snail wasn’t too bad. Boots were a pain. The laces are a little chicken scratchy, but I tried to tidy them up.
