This is the leanest course, with the least bits of information I could have imagined. Seriously. I am not enjoying it at all. I feel cheated, like YouTube by itself, without spending the money is a much better value. Romanticizing the gesture line, having two sections on making two lumps touching each other and then, the Two Old Muppets in the balcony art judging routine just aren´t worth the purchase price! Maybe I would have been better off with the drawing fundamentals because I expected MORE, more value, more content and, it's just not teaching me anything! I regret buying this course and the only way I can express that is this post AND swearing that I´ll never buy from Proko again. Cost me $145 but, I did learn something, at least that I´m done with Proko.

Hi Ignacio,
I can tell your frustrated, invested your time and money into something you hoped would help. I just want to offer a different perspective, not to change your mind, but maybe to invite a deeper conversation. I have been going through the same course and yeah, gesture, beans, robo beans......its hard lol. I have definitly had moments where I was like "damnnn why is stan gestures, beans, etc look way better??? Why does my attempts look like trash lmao.
The comparisions, the doubts, the fears, all of that set in....but let me remind you...I realized this course isnt about getting something polished right away. Its more like learning a new visual language, piece by piece. We all didnt speak perfect language right away when we were babies....we started saying gibberish but eventually! we started talking, reading, writing to the point where I am here talking to you lol.
I also noticed you have not posted any images of your work yet, which I am curious why. That would have been helpful for the proko team and others to give you constructive criticism. Not to break you down but to build you up. I found that once I started sharing, even if it was messy or awkward, I began to get the kind of feedback that helped unlocked things for me.
So again, I am not here to invalidate your experience, and maybe you won't ever read this, but I hope to anyeone else whos struggling with this....give it one more shot, and see if sharing some of your work changes the experience.

I bought Marshall's 12 set course online. I choose to download the videos. First, he’s right. He is a stud, although even better with age. Secondly, I was going to give out a bit about the ultra light content of this course as value for price paid UNTIL I opened Marshall's first video. Excellent! Full-featured teaching about perspective and form. For everything too light, especially "The Bean" section, this more than makes up for it! Perhaps perspective in Figure Drawing isn’t such a relative topic but, the sheer value of knowing perspective from a classroom standard is worth A LOT, and is a blessing, which I would never have known about had it not been for this course. So, very happy.
