Change To ‘Atylass’ From The Game.
13/2/2023 I’ve started a new day by day schedule featured by Marc Burnet, an online YouTube Art teacher. day 1 consistence of Spheres that forms an ellipse. I would like to know where I can improve on my one’s and/or wonder if there’s any videos for suggestions on methods.

I love how you are able to understand the volume in the sphere, I can see that in the way you curve inwards towards the end. I would recommend practicing on your line confidence, try practicing what line you want to make before setting it down on the page. I see many lines around the circle alone. Give it a go, you're doing great.

I spent time to work on my shapes as well as simplifying animals. Any constructive criticism is much appreciated.

It's great that you are well aware of perspective. In your first couple of drawings I can see the perspective is off for many of the drawings. Trying drawing in a simple perspective grid so you know where your lines need to head. You'll eventually get use to it will rely less on the grid. Good luck.

I just dialed in 3 hours of bean so I thought this might be a good time to ask for some thoughts. These are newest ones. Do you think they are fine? Or they aren't but I am on the right track? Or am I missing something? This is my first time posting here (or in any community) so I'm excited and looking forward to any critique I can get! Thank you 🙏

You're doing an amazing job showing the squash and stretch in your drawings. I can really see you emphasizing that. I would recommend also focusing on bodies with a twist, just to really understand the S curve in the body, as well as showing off cross contours to show the volume of the torso and the hips/pelvis. I see a couple of your beans show the use of foreshortening and I understand it's not covered much in depth in the lesson, but keep the perspective in mind when you come across it. Don't be afraid to try it out, you're doing so well and the improvement is showing.

I did some practice for the Bean lesson from yesterday to today. I also really love writing messages to myself, giving myself feedback from the day before. It helps to treat myself with kindness and understanding from a different point of view. Anyway, with my notes in mind I practiced using the poses from the Line of Action website. Any feedback would be appreciated, thank you.

Awesome to see you were improving as you kept drawing. First, practice drawing circles and ellipses from your elbow and shoulder. These will haunt you for the rest of your drawing life, I promise. Fill sketch books. Try not to use your wrist. Make sure you can see them as spheres by adding cross sections. I see you already started doing that in your later drawings. The masses representing the torso and hips should not be too far apart from each other. Try adding more S curves in the mix for the spine along with the pinch. Good job!

Hey, this is my first post in regards to my figure drawing practice. I’ve done gesture drawings before and by no means am I a master at it. I recognize there is a lot of improvement to be made and I want to become better. I hope by the end of this course, I’ll be able to put down a line with intention and really understand the proportions of the figure so the drawing doesn’t come off my page for being too long or even shorter than I meant to. I appreciate any feedback I get from these posts and I’ll do my best to implement them into my practice.
