hey everyone this is my entry .... As an artist what I love the most is how much of ourselves we put in everything we create, also anime and graffiti art have made a huge impact on me. So I decided to do a movie about my life around that. A classic adventure anime battle thing.  the premise of my movie is "what will happen if our creations can come to life if someone believes in them". In a world where there are powerful girls call muses, who have the power to bestow life to certain creations that expel a special aura that can only be granted by the artist who cares and have a strong feeling towards it. This power can be easily corrupt, so now the muses are been haunted down to harvest their power but one of these girls called LUNA has found a guardian with a particular type of art and with little self-esteem but with a great heart, that can bring balance to the world and he only needed one person who believes in him.

STICKY GIFT (2021) When moving sticky notes guides this young woman who strives for being an artist along with her swan helps her remind herself of who she is by going to the past, solving out mysteries before her birthday, 14th of June. Hello! I'm Oliziette and this is my movie poster for a movie that will tell my story on how I become who I am. It's an adventure, fantasy, action, a little bit comedy here and there, and mystery type of movie. Why it's called Sticky Gift, like what's so special about the Stick Notes? Well, I use it a lot and it has saved me so much in my workplace and myself, not only as an artist, but MAINLY in my personal life. I'm quite forgetful person, and i have to remind myself all the time. Now, there was one time I made like a past > present > future thing. Being an artist has changed my views in life, but even so, I had to remind again to myself that it's okay to fail and to take a breath whenever I know I start to panic over mistakes, failures, and judgements. It helped me so much to get through all of the stories again that I had in the past and get me back to the present to change the future. Also, Sticky Notes has become my friend at some point hehe. The "Gift" one? Well, I'll leave the theories on you guya for the mysteries hehe~ (Actually.. it's kind of obvious though ahaha). So enjoy this poster I made that shares about the journeys on how I got here, along with my two little companions: a swan, and my little Sticky Notes. I had fun while making this, so I hope all of you had fun and are having fun making yours! Goodluck 😊

Hello! this is my entry for the challenge! ♥ The film is about me and my voices (the critical voice that can catch you and lead you down a path of frustration as an artist) and the voice of hope and compassion. I spent a lot of time in the critical voice, comparing myself and basically hitting myself, it was difficult for me to draw because everything was wrong, until one day something changed, I decided to go back inside and listen to the other voice: "compare your drawings from Before with those from Today", since then I was free and returned to the path of art ♥ We will always have those voices but it is up to us which one to listen to.

Hello! here delayed with everything! but this is the idea: The film is about me and my voices (the critical voice that can catch you and lead you down a path of frustration as an artist) and the voice of hope and compassion. Regarding the drawing, I made these color palettes and I think I'll stick with option 1 but also option 2 with a small color variation of yellows and oranges

Hey Feycel! After I did this paintover I saw Luigi has already given you a great critique about value grouping- in this particular image it really helps create depth which I think was an important characteristic to push in this second scene. But on another note, I slightly adjusted some of the shapes in your composition: The mountain peak was tangent with the border so I made it extend beyond it. (Albeit very loosely) I directed the shapes of the tree canopies at more of an angle to help lead the eye back to the character. There is great potential to design pleasing shapes in trees that can also serve the movement of the composition! I lowered the foliage in the midground so that the character would feel more important in the image. I also added a crowd of those stone spirits in the foreground just for myself! Otherwise, I think Luigi hit it right on the head, and your whimsical, colorful style is already great! Thanks for sharing and nice work!

Hi Josh! How are you?! First of all thank you for taking the time and secondly, sorry for the delay, I honestly did not think that someone would see my post and help me in the way that all of you helped me it's really cool and it makes me very happy to be able to see other points of view that help me to realize certain mistakes and better decisions that help push the piece towards something better I loved your version! I think my problem itself is the value, I still do not know how to handle it so I will go right to study them I really thank you for your help and time, I appreciate it very much, I feel indebted

Great pieces @faycel, I love your use of color! I did a brief paint over for your second piece. I think the main composition critique that I had to give for that piece is that your value patterns seemed a bit scattered, and grouping your values would help to make your piece feel a bit more solid. My paint over is only one solution, and you have many options for directions you would want to go in for this painting. Basically what I did is that I made the foreground area a bit darker, I imagined that it would be under the shadows of the trees behind it. This did 2 things. 1 is that it grouped the foreground area so that it was a more unified mass of a darker value. This helped to separate the foreground from the background while simplifying the values you in your image. The second thing that this did is that it darkened the values to allow the magical blue light effect to really pop and work as your focal area. In your original piece, it was hard to make that blue magical effect feel like it was emitting light because the values around it were too bright. Hope this helps! Let me know if there is anything that I can clear up for you, and again, great work!

Hi faycel and well done! I like the athmospere of the blue cave image. The eye stays into the image and the white creature is the main focus. I suppose the owl should be the second focal point? There is the arc, that leads the eye and connects the two. For my taste the background around the owl could be lighter to make the owl pop more. The girl in the woods is colorful and I like the difference between the light and dark area. The girl ist clearly the point of interest. It is not that clear, what she is looking at in the shadow, but it seems to be mysterious, and so it is okey for me to have to look at it more intense. And the big plant in the background is a flaw for me, because it seems to grow out of her head. Is this intented?

hello dominiik! How are you? First of all, thank you for taking the time and sorry for the delay. regarding the girl, it's true !! I just realized that it is vizca !! my god haha I put the plant behind the girl because I felt that something was missing in the background and I did not know how to fill those spaces, it was intentional but now that I see it, it is not so cute haha

These look amazing! You're farther along the art path than me, but I'll do my best to give you feedback. The things that I think could improve in each. Blue cave: the shapes created by the arching rocks are very similar in size and shape. The white floating creature is unclear to me. I can't tell what it is and it's the first place my eye goes. Forest mountain: the drapery/clothing of the girl is odd to me. I don't know exactly what's going on with the shirt. I don't know if the plant should be growing right behind her head. I feel like it maybe disrupts her silhouette. Also the girl is in shadow but she's being illuminated...I think she's being lit by the blue magical light, but the color of her skin suggest that it's being lit by a warm light source
