Drawing over a photo and trying to show some depth… it’s quite amazing! It’s hard to draw long straight lines in an evenly manner or do determine where is close and where is far. I also get confused when there’s a place far away but I want to put on a bit more line weight because there’s shadow. The transition in the middle is a bit abrupt. But hey, I learned something!:)

Painted these recently, and just thought I could use some advice for the future (The one on the left isn't my own reference by the way). I know the gray wall for the orchid still-life is patchy, but that's because I had run out of that specific color, and I didn't want to risk mixing up another gray, only for it to not be the right shade. Critiquing welcome!

Something else I drew but forgot to add. I have to say, I'm particularly proud of her braids and the other tiny details.

Judging from everybody's comments on this video, they all seem to have the premium drawing basics course. I guess I'm buying it now? yay for draftsmen...?
I'm really looking forward to the TWO episodes I get to watch, listen to, whatever. Well, now I'm just being cynical. But seriously, Stan, Marshall, I am proud of you for deciding to continue Draftsmen for a little longer. I am definitely excited to see what is in store for us. I don't resent you for being exclusive. No hard feelings. :)

Right! I was able to finish my original submission for this October challenge, but barely just. I did the style of the skull in honor of Días de los Muertos. It was a lot of fun making it, although it was super stressful when I had to re-do it when I found that it had been deleted.

Hello! I was working on something that was going to be my submission, but it somehow got deleted off of Procreate, and I wasn't able to restore it (It happens). I was able to make up the progress I lost, but I'm not sure if I'll finish it in time for October 21st. So, I just whipped something up because I wanted to be able to submit something for this month's challenge. So, here it is!
I work i did while ago..... medium used pen and ink on paper

This is just a fun sketch that I did on Procreate. (It's a fan art of Keeper of the Lost Cities) I rarely do digital, so I'm very happy with it!
Here's my submission!
I really like Marco Bucci work, so I tought it would be fun to participate in this challenge and try to apply things I've learned trough is youtube videos. It was a very good challenge as I'm trying to not color pick the colors as much as I used to do in the past and create my own color palettes.

Here's my attempt for this month's challenge. I studied a picture I took of a pigeon a while ago. Work time was around 50 minutes.
