This portrait was a real challenge. But in the end I was very satisfied when I placed my version over the original. I didn't quite get the shoulders and hair right but I'm very happy with the rest.
For fun I did a second portrait to work on the shading a bit. Now I understand Proko when he says this portrait is not a beginner's face - I had a really hard time recognizing the different levels of shading...

You did a really nice job ! I made one the other day and my proportions were way off! Yours are pretty on point, impressive.
Good job and your shading is great !

I've drew this one yesterday and I think I capture some dynamism in this one.

I've done some simplifications from memory and reference. I've used the monkey from the live stream et moved on to my others simplifications I've previously done.
My cat look a little bit like a dog but I like it. And I've drop a bean shape for bonus points 😂

Oh man, I was scared for this one. Very first time drawing people. Or rythms, sorry. It’s hard but fun! Having to do a lot of them for practice, but I’ll go to perspective first 😵💫
Great! I'm working on the seals at the moment and I'm finding it quite difficult to capture the rhythms.
But I think you're capable of capturing it, and I particularly like the last one. #24.

Since I love raccoons (as you can see from my previous sketches;-) I decided to stylise this animal as well. Playing with the different shapes was really fun and forces you to step out of the usual thinking...

it’s been a will since I have done perspective. My lines are so wobbly. I will need to do more warms up

This exercise was very cool! It's super helpful to simplify - I want to deepen this approach a lot more. What do you think? Any feedback is welcome:-)
ps: the buffalo was definitely the most difficult for me...

I'll definitely have to do this more often when I notice the proportions on something I'm drawing look off, it was pretty helpful doing the direct comparison (I don't have photoshop so I just made the image the exact same size and held the drawing up against the screen to check the difference)
