Edges?Hey, been working on the Drawing Basics Course and was just wondering when the section on Edges was going to drop or if there is a section on Edges in the works? Edges and Edge control is what I really want to start learning right now?

Here's my attempt after watching the demo. I used a broader range of pencils from Hb to 4b. I'm not sure if I'm getting this or not so would love some feedback. I also included my drawing from before watching the demo. Tomorrow I'll try to draw the portrait.

Here's my drawing of the pair. I used wooden pencils using an HB and 4B. I made a couple different attempts. I want to watch the demo and then redraw based off the demo and whatever feedback I can get then I want to attempt the portrait.

It helps to think about your value range as distributed into lights and darks, so you can use the 3 lightest values for areas hit by light and the 2 darkest for the shadows. Right now, it seems there are four values in the light while the shadow area on the pear's left edge is closer in value to light than dark. Also, you have readable and consistent values, which is great, but also try for a cleaner edge between shapes, as this can help with further clarity :)

So I've been drawing a while but I've always felt there was missing information and I think I maybe learned things like figure drawing and anatomy and perspective and stuff before learning basic fundamentals. This is my first drawing for the the Drawing basics course. This is just kinda where I am now and what I can do with a photo and a 2b lead holder. Pretty excited to dive deeper into the class and see where it leads.
