This is not a bad start. If you were to focus on one thing to improve, I would say you should work on distinguishing your values a little more. On the face, it's hard to distinguish lighter shadow values from darkest half tone from lightest halftone. I would split the drawing into light and shadow first and then find darker areas in each, taking care to keep the lightest shadow darker than the darkest light.

Hi Daniel, It's a really nice attemt. A tip for next face: When you block in your eyes, nose and mounth it could be helpfull to think that they should all have parallel lines. Like if you draw a line trough the eyes, one underneath the nose and one inbetween the lips they should be more or less parallel. Keep up the good work !

Maybe the proportions at first one cpuld improve but in mybopinion you do It nice!
