My attempt at the level 2 assignment. If anyone has some tips for clean rendering they would be appreciated since I feel I am missing something with mine.

Looks awesome! Don't worry about rendering, I don't think that's the point here :)
@itswaker
It's so bad bros. unconfident lines and too many searching lines. Didn't look hard enough at the parts of the hand to make sure I understood the shapes enough to draw them accurately and the arm is too chonky. I like my penguin, though.

It is hard, but you gotta keep going! Overall the shapes are good, and "the unconfident lines" just need more practice to build up that confidence. Try doing simpler sketches (Maybe clouds, a pumpkin, another penguin, etc) some with sketchy lines, and then over that with a softer pencil do the confident one, eventually you'll get there 😊 And try to center the drawing 🤗

Before starting the challenge, I thought, "Ah, it will take 30 minutes to do", but I spent 66 minutes shading this. I always struggle with the halftone part and the shape of the form shadow. I'll try two or three more challenges later. Feedback is always welcome!

It happens haha. "Nah, just 10 minutes" *ends up spending 7 hours*

Asked for help
After the other video i wanted to draw something as fully rendered as I could, so I made this. I know specially the cast shadow is "meh", i'll keep working on that :)

These are awesome! I love the little knot he’s you put into the block and sphere. I think that it sells the illusion of 3D very well.

This isn't a one point, but i'm kinda proud of this and wanted to share it, if it's okay 😊

You’re very good at perspective!

This looks like fish eye perspective right? Love it great job! :D

I find the twisting torsos/cubes really hard unless I exaggerate them 😕

Here is my shot to the level 2. I like how it turned out! Any thoughts? Feels good to just draw mindlessly without any pressure 😊
Dani Torres
For some reason I find the twisting cubes way harder than any other deformation 🤔 Anyway, I began drawing this with nothing in mind, but it turned out funny, I call it "Your fly is down". Is like the "main" house left its door open, and the ones of its left are holding the laughter, a few bend and stretch to see, and the ones close to us are laughing. And yes, I drew butts 🤣 Tomorrow i'll give the level 2 a shot! 😊
Rachel Dawn Owens
This is a perfect way to go about this assignment (And the butts are funny). I was just talking to someone else about this earlier. You can give objects some personality to inform design. Tell a story, have fun. And you can turn anything into a well designed and fun drawing.

The first page is before watching the critique and 2nd was after. I tried to aim for interesting shapes, but not sure I improved much.

I really like the horse!

I had time to do two today. I like the push-up one the most 😊 It was the second that I did, maybe i was warmed up after the jumping one 🤔

These are rad! Perfect cross contour linework!
