Pencil sketch of Grim Reaper . Just practicing.
Ridiculous sea robot in coloured pencil.
Snowball fight in charcoal pencil.
I tried to keep with a more traditional Prince but with beast and biblical snake references. Lots of traditional Goat influence with the eyes, horns and one foot but I wanted a threatening hand so went with a crab claw . I also wanted the horns to feel like slicked back hair so I kept them close to the head. Pose is based on a picture from prince Charles looking a little smug.

What is the secret to adding detail that look good in every light and doesn’t causing flakes of clay to remove or burnish in. The palm has too many lines and the knuckle look to deep. About 3in tall.

Momma Bear. No explanation required. Funny if you don’t already have one.

Hello,
I am seeking criticism on my two-minute gesture drawings. Any feedback is appreciated. Please find an image of gestures attached below.
I couldn’t help but think of the dynamic poses of athletes at the Olympics as I watched my lessons in gesture last week. My secondary goal was to be able to draw gestures of different sports so the viewer can identify the sport without any items or equipment.
Thanks in advance,
Vince

The first attempt at the challenge. The back is ok. I had some toothpicks, wire and electrical tape in my kitchen no safety pins could be found.

Last one. Mostly used fingers and wire and toothpicks for detail. Already had monster clay, armature wire and aluminum foil.

Second attempt at challenge. This is my first study of the male head. Feel like I inadvertently used a more feminine bone structure. Had a hard time with the profile.

Third attempt at challenge. Work documented approximately every hour for combined shots. Finally got something to hold it up but need to build or buy something better that doesn’t tip over
