Asked for help
Coming back here to show some progress since last time.
I have continued with Patrick’s teachings and replayed a lot of this videos and went to his other courses.
I find it very helpful to warm up by watching his videos and then trying to implement it in my own work.
This is a piece I have done by using a online model reference.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated

Beautiful work, Craig. Your hard work is really showing through!
I wanted to point out two things — the thickness of the right thigh can be increased here to match the left, and you want to make room for the three finger gap between the asis of the pelvis and the skin fold of the thigh where the femur is bending up. It’s just a bit too high on the right leg here.

Thank you for this wonderful course Patrick! I have learned lots and your teachings have worked wonders. I will be revising the notes for years to come.
I am looking forward to the new course and in the meantime I will visit some anatomy books to get familiar with the muscles and structures

Great lesson makes me see the amount of anatomy I don’t understand.
does anyone have a good anatomy book suggestion that shows all of the muscles and bone names.
after this course I’m going to study the names and find the rhythms

here is my finished work. I kind of get lost not knowing when it’s done or when I should keep rendering or what steps to take but I will definitely revisit this lesson so much advice!

Another great lesson! It’s nice to hear that big bearers can happen to all artists and it nice to hear some tips how to best them.
Here is my attempt I did struggle with it but looking forward to the next session.

This is a beautiful drawing! Congratulations 🎉
The next step might be a very subtle one. Try squinting to blur out the details. If you want the focal area to be around the torso, maybe you can try adding some more contrast around that area.
This can bring the composition together for a more solid drawing.
Great work of this drawing. I really love how you draw the face.
