Hi everyone! I have returned to drawing recently and I have started digital drawing recently. I am still trying to get used to the tablet and the digital aspect of it, so I thought this exercise would be the perfect start!
Starting from the Concept of Cacti, then arrived at Cacti Killer as I did some doodles and then landed on the concept of Cacti Kaiju, since in June there is this challenge to draw one Kaiju monster for every day of the month (Kaijune).
I feel like I stayed too safe by keeping close to the shape of sea creatures and cacti in general and not going big enough!

The "sea of sand" concept is great, I'd love to fight an army of these monsters in a videogame.

I like how you kept the cactus shape language through most of your sea creature designs. It especially reads well with the crab/scorpion in the top left.
There's plenty you can play with just those 2 concepts even (So many crazy species of each too). Substituting spines for tentacles and vice versa, flat cacti flippers, etc. could be another avenue of exploration.
Super cool, I'm eager to see where you take it next!
