Wish I studied the structural shapes of these ones more! Did a couple figures then a few loomis heads

Tried out some acrylic gouaches that have been sitting around

A couple 2, 5, and 30 minute drawings

Got what I could in about 30 minutes. I’m noticing I’m having trouble with legs, something to work on next time!

First time trying one of these 12 day challenges, this was a lot of fun! I tried to think about what muscles might live on the first drawing. I referenced a few anatomy drawings on Google and pieced what I could together. The 2nd was just a lot of struggling with the layin lol.

Hopefully I’m not too late to submit for critique! This is my Level 2 submission. Aside from the darkest value, I feel I’m struggling with pushing values overall. This was a whole lot of fun though

Hello, here is my submission for Level 1! This was drawn on Canson’s Mix Media paper at 98 lbs. I feel I may have used more than 5 values and could have simplified more

Tried out the Strathmore toned gray spiral sketchbook! I did like how you don’t have to worry about pushing all the mid-tones as Stan mentioned, and the whites really pop ✏️
