Hi! I've been studying drawing Loomis heads. First with the 3D sketchfab model and now trying to apply it to photographs. I made some notes on my reasoning for how I drew the oval for the side planes! I was hoping someone could critique me on whether that reasoning is sound. Thanks!

Practice some balance well I would say unbalanced poses but I try to apply everything that I learned on these sketches. It was really fun to do it. So again if you have any feedback please let me know.

Hi, so here are my mannequin sketches. I drew them on my own and then I compared the result with Proko´s sketches. Sometimes I had to do it again when I felt that the proportion wasn't correct. If you see anything that I could change please let me know. Thanks.

Robo bean practice, I made this a few days ago and I totally forgot to upload it here. I practiced this episode two times because it was hard to understand for me. Any criticism is welcome. Love you guys.

Well I try to focus on the landmarks in the exercises, I don't know anatomy very well.  I try not to lose the gesture and ignore the muscles . I hope it is ok. Any feedback is welcome.

2021/9/18. Hi all. Here' s my weekly mannequinization exercise. I'm not really sure I completed the task properly. I don't feel like I drew a "real" mannequin. It's a kind of hybrid between, mannequin, landmarks drawing, gesture, measuring exercise and shading. In some way the lateral plan of the right leg (as well as other area like the breast) looks too flat to me maybe because I used straight line for shading. Next time I'll try curves to see the difference in the final result. The left breast profile and the overlapping deltoids are confused a little bit. Thanks for any advice or suggestion. Have a good week end.

so far mannequinization looks great, but I think that you lost the gesture in the process

hola everybody! this is supposed to be a quick sketch but the right arnm is getting me crazy due to foreshortening. i had drawn it a dozen of times and its getting worse and worse. how would u do it? it does not need to be precise, just some shape which gives the idea. thanks!

hi, I think you should focus in practice draw gesture for 1 min and 2 min poses that would help you to improve. Also, your drawing has many details try to keep it simple. I'm not an expert but I hope this help you :)

nice job, but you should practice your gesture more before focus on the muscles and the details. But, so far your line is clean. :)

Here are some practices I did. I'm still not very used to finding landmarks like this, so I think some of them may be incorrect. I'd love for some critiques if anybody notices anything.

mmmm before doing landmark I think you should work more in your gesture. Your poses are to stiff

It was a struggle trying to simplify the shapes and not lose the gesture. I don´t know if I made it. Also, I feel that I couldn´t solve the faces very well. I need some help and critiques in this exercise. If someone can help me I would really appreciate it.

I face the same kind problem with simplifying the shapes as I do with gesture drawing. It’s a challenge to not think of the contour when drawing gestures, and with this exercise it’s a challenge to not make the shapes more complex than they have to. I realize I’m not using too many primitive forms here, but I want to post this anyway and come back to it later as I progress.

practice the bean, I remember that last year I took this course but I didn’t understand this lesson. I decided to try again and I realise that this time is easier. Anyway, looking for ways to improve, please critiques are welcome.
