Fantastic job! Maybe that big smudge on the wall next to her head is getting too much attention (ignoire this comment if it was the intention) In general looks awesome! Great composition, fantastic color, light and texures!

Hi everyone, I know I am late but this is my first ever post for any challenge and I needed that. I am a very shy person, this is a huge step for me toward showing what I am learning. And every feedback is welcome 😸
Thank you

Came across this challenge just in time to make an entry, gotta be lucky some times! Made something stylized inspired by the sunsets we have been having lately here north of the arctic circle, though it's more of a combined sunset and sunrise, as the sun just touches the mountains and then goes back up, hehe.

And finally the last one from me. I'm really grateful for this challenge, I enjoyed making these studies so much and I discoverd how much I love sketching straight in color!
Another outside sketch

Hey , I usually do portaits and I mostly use pencil and bic pens so I took this challenge as an opportunity to do a full scene . My reference is a picture I took when I was on vacation last year . Hopefully you'll like my interpretation of the theme :)

Chose to do a local scene for this challenge, and tried to push the character while staying faithful to the lighting. This is in Tayport Scotland

The Tempest.
I enjoyed playing with light with these complimentary colours. I don’t usually go so abstract but I was trying not to think and just paint 🙂

I decided to start a painting idea I had when I heard about this challenge, I was unable to finish or expand on the idea but here is what I have.
Studying some light.. and remembering how awesome Arch Enemy was at Metal Days 2019 \m/

Hello :)
I thought this challenge would be a great opportunity to practise a bit painting a scene with difficult elements, including light, for me and in the same time will give me a chance to leave a bit of sketchiness in it :)

Having heard about this challenge, I had to come rushing. Not only because Marco’s work and teaching is amazing, but also because I certainly struggle with keeping things loose and not stiffly detailing everything.
Here is a small watercolor and gouache painting of a place I stayed at when I volunteered in Spain a couple months ago. Although there is still quite some rigidness, I did my best to at least keep everything other than the house, which is the main focus, looser. I focused on emphasizing the local colors and capturing the shadow on the house, a result of a bright, sunny day.
And no, I did not paint this outside, still got to tackle the fears but I am inspired to try this summer. If someone wants to keep me (virtual) company, feel free to message!

Hello, first time participating in a proko challenge. I've always struggled with light and color and I'm a fan of Marco Bucci's lessons (no way I'm missing this one out).
I'm not sure if I did the challenge right... as I pushed the render a little beyond the sketchiness (certainly to hide the some of issues with perspective).
Inspired by Patrick J. Jones's fantasy girls I wanted to do something within that theme.
I tried to implement cold and warm colors and interesting shadow/light shapes (keep it basic I guess).
Here's the result and my submission.
