Hi I am an artist in progress. Although I am still a beginner, I try to make my works known. I do traditional graphite drawings, mostly portraits.

Hello everybody, I am Santiago and this is the first time I tried drawing a scene. So far I have mainly worked on improving my accurracy for traditional portrait drawings (you check out my instagram you can see that). The images I tried to include are references number 3 (gun), number 4 (motorcycle), number 6 (helmet) and number 12 (hummingbird). It was very challenging and it took me 3 days to complete; I hope I can do better next time. I know it is not perfect, but I am happy with the result considering I have never drawn anything this complex and certainly I have never felt confident enough to enter a challenge with one of my drawings :). The scene is supposed to be part of a bigger battle where people on land fight people from the sky. The guy riding the hummingbird knows he has the advantage because he has a gun and can fly. While the guy riding the motorcycle has poissoned the arrow and is aiming at the hummingbird. He doesn't care if he falls off the cliff, he will have a sense of a life well lived if he dies knowing that the people from the sky has lost one of their hummingbirds. Btw I took the picture with my phone bc is a traditional drawing with ink so I am sorry if it looks a little dark, that is because it is 8pm here in my country.
