hey there, so I have purchased 3 courses - Portrait, Figure and Anatomy. When I navigate to 'My Classroom', only the portrait and anatomy courses show up. The figure course is not visible. To find it, I have to navigate to 'Browse' and the figure drawing course is at the end of a long list of videos and indicates I've purchased it. Very strange. Not sure if this is a bug or an issue specific to my account?

I'm a beginner at anatomy and didn't even come close to getting this right. Stan, do you recommend that I keep moving through the material or stop and correct each tracing, to get them somewhere in the ballpark of your examples?

It would be nice if this 3D model as well as the 3D skull model were listed under 'Tools' in my dashboard rather than having to go within the course menus to find it. I can always bookmark the page I realize, but I thought this was worth suggesting.

My initial attempt and corrected. I'm also gradually getting more comfy with my wacom tablet. It's encouraging to see I'm getting smoother and more consistent looking lines.

If I'm struggling to draw the beans properly, is it okay to go more slowly with the exercise? Or is it important try to keep under 2 minutes for each bean? I feel like if I draw too slowly without a timer my lines look stiff and gross. When I do timed drawing (1 minute or less) I get anxious and start drawing extra "guessing lines". If I slow it down without making a mark and analyze the human model, my brain crashes and it focuses on detail rather than overall form. I do try to ghost my lines first and try to be mindful of my design, but I still have a tendency to draw messy lines that make no sense. I'm trying to break my bad habit, but it's not easy. I feel like this is a mental block combined with hand-eye coordination issue that happens when I look at the computer screen and then back to my drawing which is on a drawing board sitting on my knees at an angle. Any tips or advice?

Here are my beans :-) sometimes it's difficult for me to understand which part is closer and should go above the other

I have that same problem. I feel like when I watch Stan's example videos of him drawing the bean, everything seems obvious. When I try to do it on my own my brain crashes and I feel somewhat lost, like I'm guessing at the overlapping "skin folds" rather than knowing with certainty. So I've been practicing drawing with Stan as he does the example beans. I'm quite slow at drawing so it's quite a challenge, but following along with him today did help me speed up and loosen up. Not sure if my approach is recommended, but it's been helping me start to get a handle on things.

I went from barely able to draw non-wobbly ellipse this week to these beans. I realize they are not great. But I can see with some of them that I started to loosen up a little which to me is significant progress. Stan's pencil technique still feels new to me. I bought my first pad of large-format newsprint and I've been using it a lot for these bean exercises. I feel like my biggest challenge is obtaining a flow-state with drawing. Relaxing and not getting distracted doesn't come easy to me, I have a lot of anxiety but I'm trusting that with daily practice I'll keep making progress.
