Hey @curiouspoetatoe, what I'd say is spend some time studying the fundamentals. @Stan Prokopenko's video Shading Light and Form – Basics does a really good job explaining how to do it. Even though it is a different set of tools, the same concepts apply to what you're trying to do. If you have any examples of your drawings, I can give you an idea on what I'd do differently. thank you so much for the reply sorry i had a mistype i already watched their videos and seem to not get the hang of it i tried other videos aswell but appreciate the reply would you like to view my what i am doing to see whats wrong you don't have to tho

hey y'all hope you r doing alright i been studying values and it seems like i can't figure out how to blend the values can one of your please take time out your day to help me out ill appreciate it so much I'm using sketchbook pro and the blending brush

your work is great i love how you still managed to keep the dynamic gesture of the pose only problem in my opinion is it seems like your hiding your mistakes will the shading practice constructions more and it will be perfect
