hi karla any advace stay motivated ı drawing six years but now ı cant stay motivated drawing after 1 hour and Now even the portraits I draw are starting to look alike.

Do you have any advice about how to study a range of fundamentals? I’m self-teaching, and I know that I need to work on figure drawing (for example). Would it be a bad idea to also work on painting or color and light as I’m working on more basic drawing skills?

Is there a particular reason why Stan went back to using the Staedler lead pencil instead of the Blackwing? Is the Blackwing lead too soft?

Staedler pencils - I think the person asking the question was referring to these ones, that are more ‘matte’
