#artoftheday is a mix of me practicing the female anatomy and trying to make it not just a figure in the void. The #sketch of #LaraCroft turned out pretty well. Going to need to really start practicing some background #drawing. Any #artist that crushes backgrounds?

@fantasticbeastsmovie is almost here. No slight to @theofficialmads but #johnnydepp will always be #Grindelwald for me. #Sketchoftheday gets a little magical. First time using my
@blackwing mattes as well.

It's #artoftheday time! Thought with @sonicmovie hitting theaters I would give the little guy some love in today's #sketch.

I always follow the lines. The glutes rolling into the lower mid back region in this case. Also realizing that the twists tend to shrink the size of the form is something I try to keep in mind.

Using Yoga Poses to Sharpen Anatomy (CRITIQUE WELCOME)2yr
While I have tons of comic book practice I am realizing studying real world anatomy can be extremely beneficial. Yoga poses especially seem to really push the envelope.

Realized the #Joker gets an awful lot of love but #Batman has plenty of other great rogues to pull to the forefront. Today's #artoftheday is my spin on a Scarecrow #sketch.

#Sketch for the day? The Morbius has done one of my favorite vamps dirty. #Morbius is such a badass in the #MCU and I felt like I needed to give him some much-needed love.

@Jim Lee and @David Finch insist if you want to get into #comics you have to be #drawing every damn day. I am almost done my first full sketchbook and have to say... they were right. Some #skeletor for all you #MOTU fans out there on today's #sketch!
The textures you were able to pull out are really quite nice. The fabrics and the landscape are on point in the first and third image. The middle one comes across as muddled however. The crosses in the background seem out of place. As for the characters your 3rd panel shines. Your Guts in the first panel however is extremely small in stature, this character always has a juggernaut style feel to him. The proportions on Gut make him more akin to a Spiderman stature and less a Thor/Captain America stature.
Just my 2c but overall I love seeing manga nods!

As a #scot #StPatricksDay is a bit of a twist. Decided I would shift off the #comics for #sketch today and shift into some #Disneyart. Fergus anyone?

#sketch of the day. This one actually took a couple of days but was able to crack it out. Shoutout to @David Finch on inspiring another one for the #xmen crew.

#sketch of the day. Keep seeing #nightwing as this tiny Acrobat. I wanted to stack on the beef and make him feel more brawler. #Batman isn't the only one with beef!

Trying not to commit to a single style so I can have a more robust pop in my own style. Tried delving into a little Disney and a little Manga with this Flynn Rider and Goku.

@Jim Lee just blows me away with how long his style has survived in the industry. Did this one with a draw along session over on Twitch. Batman Who Laughs came together pretty well!

Alex Ross remains one of the GOATs IMO. The level of detail he puts into his photo-realistic styles blows me away. My take on his Dr Doom.

The big beefy boys present all kinds of fun challenges from proportions to the muscle structure to the veins and details. Really pleased with how this turned out (with the exception of the abs).

This one was a bit of a "draw along" with @David Finch on Youtube. Loved where he went with it but I switched it up a little bit as my character concept was a Joker henchman on Venom. Wanted to maintain some of the horror aspects but also bring in some of that DC flavor.

Asked for help
@David Finch really has pushed me not to keep it simple but to really challenge myself. This Wolverine was completely new to me (Not a character I read or draw) and it was challenging to draw for sure. While I am happy with how it looks I am really struggling with it as a finished piece. Any help would be awesome!
