'The Ellipse is Symmetrical in 2D' My brain is having trouble accepting this. I look at record example measure it and see that it is, but then I am immediately like 'Is it REALLY Symmetrical?'

This video is exactly what I needed. I really didn't understand on how to pick which perspective. I still don't, but now I understand that is ok! :)

Day 2 Toy car. I have already learned an important lesson attempting this challenge. I need to work faster not just on the challenge pieces but my studies as well. There are so many things I want to learn how to draw and drawing time can burn up really fast. I acknowledge I made errors on this but moving on is going to teach me more.

Question for anyone out there. I have heard people say 2 point is the most commonly used perspective and three point is just for buildings and similar things. I have also heard things like 2 point is likely the most you need. As some one who is working towards character design should I still invest more time in 3 point over 2 point perspective?

Day 1 Fire Hydrant. Have not gotten to cylinders yet. I'll just take the opportunity to practice what I am currently learning!

I know I still have lots of room for improvement, but this has been my best attempt at exercises like this. I am really excited to practice this more and attempt some level 2 portraits! Any feedback would be great.

Level 1 - 1/2 from imagination (or nightmares from working in retail.) one thing that suprised me was how I kept wanting to adjust the parallel lines even though I knew they should all be the same angle.

I tried to follow along but it got a bit messy. I think my head was too wide to start and I needed readjust things. This was very helpful though. I am going to start practicing breaking down individual parts in the way you showed. Side note once you add the spine to the ribcage it kind of reminds me of a popsicle or a sign.
