Eisdaen, princess to the Elken Lords of the Waspordo Valley, sits confidently across her prince. A shape shifting folk who cross the frozen hinterlands yearly to find a more accommodating climate for mating, the Elken home in the Great North awaits their inevitable return.

These are great! You should include #1 and #100 next to each other! I'd be curious to see the difference.

Hey Andreas, nice WIP you've got going. For starters, it looks like you're using a round brush with a low opacity rather than a low flow. A low opacity simply changes how opaque the color is, whereas flow changes how much "paint" comes out of the brush. I like to work with a lower flow to achieve smoother renderings. Also, don't be ashamed to use the smudge or blur tool, or the soft brush for those nice gradated transitions!

Hi, my name is Joe Zavaletta, aka tripplejaz on certain parts of the internet. I'm a freelance fantasy illustrator located in the Northwest. Looking to be a part of a community that takes its craft seriously!
First off these are really great! My gut reaction is the first one. It has such nice movement through out the piece ala Van Gogh, and the natural texture of the paint captured in the photo really makes it pop. Props to you for doing it 3 times!
