Hi Yury! I just wanted to say that I really like your picture, it could be an illustration to a story. To me it looks a bit like they dance around each other, measuring the other. It feels like a very balanced and lovey composition. with an undercurrent of a interesting story. To get more of the feeling of being afraid though, you could try to make both their postures more tense. Maybe have the humans upper body leaning back and away more, like if they are bracing for an attack. Also, an easy way to make it feel more threatening could be to give the big cat an open jaw, like it’s snarling in a warning. Great job though, I like your style!

Hi Moonfey! First of all, thank you for the kind words! The picture is indeed intended as an illustration for a kids book. I think both of your suggestions are spot on, especially the one about the cat. Definitely some work on it's face (?) expression would help. Thank you!

Hi everyone! In this picture I wanted to convey the feeling of threat, with both characters simultaneously afraid and threatening each other. But I don't feel like I succeeded. Could someone please help? What would you do to make the composition more dynamic? Thank you!
