First time trying lvl 2 but this exercise is exactly what I wish to learn! Love the invitation to simplify and search. Excited to learn how to get the images in my head onto the paper! This feels like an excellent first step. Ready for more!

Gave these a go with a 4B graphite. I ran out of space for the VR orb, so I did a modification. I still would like to take a try at the hand.

To me, this course has always been about drawing the body from imagination, in the end. So I tried drawing 'muscleman' on paper quickly, without looking at any reference. It's not quite visible, but there are construction lines showing the skeleton underneath. I added the muscles on top of that. I'm sure there are mistakes everywhere (I'm especially not convinced of the shoulders and crotch section) but I'm happy to be able to do this after rushing through this course so quickly and only once. I'm sure to review all the lessons one more in a second pass to fix what I didn't get at first, and hopefully, it will allow me to grow one step further. Anyway, I have to say : this course was wild. It's a huge, awesome work that deserves to be applauded, and I certainly don't regret the money and time I spent on this. Big thanks to everyone involved.

2022/8/29. Good morning everybody. Today's my 30 mins warming up exercise was gesture (2 mins poses). This time I used extreme angle pics. The problem with this kind of references is that the foreshortening is very strong and for a beginner like me delivering the gesture correctly becoming even more difficult than usual. Without any anatomical o shading details the gesture can appear distorted and in some cases even wrong. I posted a couple of pics I used for my exercise so you can try too. In a couple of cases I had to extend the time to 3 or 4 mins because I hade to find the main shapes I needed to build the pose in the right way. Thanks for any comment or suggestion. Have a good week!

You guys are awesome! I was totally failing at a project today that has a deadline. I opened my email and had to laugh when I read the title. So glad I took a break to watch this. I am reenergized for the next round! Thank you

Hello Stephen! Is there a reason you are using a wood pallet instead of a gray pallet for your paint?
